At this course, you will get an introduction to the Six Sigma framework and the DMAIC project model. Executing and completing successful improvement projects, requires a systematic and disciplined approach. In Six Sigma, this is ensured by dividing projects into five phases (define, measure, analyze, improve and control), where each phase has its own purpose and set of specific tools that can be utilized.

You should participate in this course to learn how to structure a project, based on the Six Sigma project model. Through case studies and practical exercises, you will gain the necessary skills that will enable you to select and define relevant improvement projects that will benefit your company and your customers.

This one-day course provides you with a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and is the is first module towards Green Belt. If you are aiming towards a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, you can combine this course with five more course days that covers more details on the applied statistical tools used in Six Sigma. The software used in this course is JMP from SAS and the instructors will demonstrate all the exercises in JMP. If you are currently not a JMP user, we recommend you install JMP on your computer before participating in the course. A free 30-day trial can be found in JMP homepage.
