To Senior Automation Engineer, Rebeca Varghese Raju, the best thing about working at NNE are the people: “I am surrounded by people who are very experienced and have a great knowledge within their field. In my team, we value reaching goals together and fostering a great working environment, and here teamwork is a necessity".
A “Noble Cause”
When describing what it feels like to work at NNE, Rebeca uses the word “noble cause”. She likes how the engineers at NNE are making a difference when delivering pharma manufacturing facilities. “We’re indirectly helping people get a better life when building these facilities. We have a cause, and we make a difference. That’s why it is so special and meaningful to me, working at NNE”, says Rebeca.
Unity and motivation
It is important to be aligned when working together. And for Rebeca, it happens through the passion for technology and engineering she shares with her colleagues. In her team, they have the same passion and hold the same values when working towards the same goals. It is on projects, that Rebeca feels the most connected to her colleagues. “When we’re working on a project and creating solutions for our customers, that’s how we’re united. We’re facing several challenges, and when solving those together, we are the greatest team”, Rebeca adds.
Having a great team motivates her, but knowing that she is making a difference, is indeed playing a significant role as well. “Every solution I design, or plan makes a big difference in the future, and a difference for the whole project. When the production is running smooth and the customers are satisfied, and I know my work is important, that’s when I’m feeling motivated”, says Rebeca.
Building a team
Rebeca is a part of the Fill Finish Automation department, where they are building a small team focusing on robot solutions. Everyone has the same interest in developing that area, hence they put a lot of effort into doing it. And according to Rebeca, that is indeed where she senses unity. “We always strive to bring our best work and effort, to make this a success and to help NNE. And that is only possible when having the same ambition and passion within a team”, she adds.
While the team is growing, they also make sure to do different social activities, to feel united, which helps them become a better team.
The NNE journey
Even though Rebeca began her journey five and a half years ago, she continues to add to her knowledge base. “When you finish working on a project, you think you’ve learned it all. But when you’re at a new project, you learn even more since the projects give you different learning and experiences”, says Rebeca and adds: “this help me grow personally and professionally because of the huge support I get from my colleagues and managers”.
