In this course, you will get an introduction to applied statistics and the software packages JMP from SAS. You will learn to perform statistical analysis and navigate in the different menus of the software package. You will learn to take decisions with confidence by using statistical intervals. Furthermore, you will get an introduction to sampling techniques and sample calculations.
After participating in this course, you will be able to:
- Work with data in JMP
- Understand the difference between population true values and sample estimates
- Differentiate between different data types
- Describe dataset with key numbers
- Work with probability distributions
- Identify outliers
