Corporate social responsibility

We believe in CSR with a focus on environmental, social and financial responsibility. We aim to secure professional engineering and consultancy services with high levels of reliability and compliance. This means that we continuously strive to integrate and improve health, safety and environmental (HSE) considerations into our services and business processes, and that we report on NNE’s triple bottom line efforts.

Social

At NNE we work hard to provide a positive and healthy working environment for our employees. We support diversity and equal opportunities for all, as well as the education of engineers via close collaboration with universities, PhD positions and internal education.

Environmental

When it comes to the environment, we believe that sourcing, resource efficiency, and developing the right competencies are key. We support CO2 reduction by commuting together, conducting online meetings, and using environmentally friendly solutions when sourcing suppliers and vendors. In addition, to ensure our customers receive the best HSE solutions, NNE supports our employees in developing market-leading competencies within health, safety and environment.

Financial

NNE delivers sustainable and competitive financial results. Our goal for 2018 is an operating profit margin of 8 percent. In 2016, we surpassed our goals with a record-high operating profit margin of 8.4 percent.

Certifications and policies

NNE has implemented three internationally recognised standards, which have all been integrated into our internal quality management system (QMS). Two of these standards form the basis for our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) processes: OHSAS 18001, for working environment management and ISO 14001, for environmental management. Although only NNE's Danish offices are officially certified, they have been integrated into our corporate HSE management concept. All of our business units are ISO 9001 certified.
